Town of Wirt Board Vacancy. The Town of Wirt is seeking a Councilmember to sit on the Town Board effective July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026. Applicants must be a resident of the Town of Wirt, at least 18 years of age, and may optionally run in November’s election for a 4-year term beginning January 1, 2027. Councilmembers typically attend meetings once or twice a month, with monthly meetings scheduled on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Town Hall in Richburg. Salary is $110/month. Please mail or bring a letter of interest to the Town of Wirt Clerk’s Office, PO Box 243, 210 Main St., Richburg NY 14774 by Monday, June 8, 2026. Decisions will made at the June 8, 2026 Town Board meeting.
